On September 4, IFA 2026 officially opened in Berlin, Germany. As one of the world’s three premier consumer electronics trade shows, this year’s IFA attracted over 1,900 exhibitors from 49 countries and regions, under the theme “The Future is Now.” LeiTech (ID: LeiTech) dispatched its dedicated “LeiTech IFA26 Reporting Team” to Berlin to deliver on-site, multi-dimensional, and first-hand coverage of IFA 2026.

Each edition of IFA serves as a global stage for companies to showcase cutting-edge technologies and demonstrate technical prowess—and exceptionally innovative products and solutions are eligible for prestigious awards. At this year’s IFA, TCL CSOT’s printed OLED UHD 120Hz desktop display (27″) won the OLED Display Solutions Gold Award.

Printed OLED panels—known for high material utilization (greater cost-efficiency), excellent color uniformity (superior visual experience), and environmentally friendly manufacturing (greener production)—have drawn intense industry attention in recent years. However, printed OLED technology remains highly challenging; most display manufacturers struggle with low yield rates, hindering mass production.

As an industry leader in display technology, TCL CSOT has pioneered breakthroughs in printed OLED, unveiling a suite of printed OLED display solutions at IFA 2026—including multiple mass-produced, consumer-grade printed OLED display terminals.

The award-winning printed OLED UHD 120Hz desktop display (27″) achieves a peak white brightness of 500 nits—10% higher than current industry standards. Leveraging Real Stripe RGB pixel arrangement technology, the solution delivers precise reproduction of subtle color gradations. Its superior visual performance makes the printed OLED UHD 120Hz desktop display (27″) ideal for professionals demanding exceptional color accuracy—such as UI designers, video creators, and digital artists.

Leveraging the inherent flexibility of printed OLED, TCL CSOT also unveiled the world’s first printed OLED foldable portable desktop display (28″). When unfolded, it transforms into an ultra-wide 28-inch “ultrawide monitor” just 4.48 mm thick; when folded, it shrinks to the size of a standard 16-inch laptop.

This printed OLED foldable portable desktop display (28″) is tailor-made for gamers, big-screen video enthusiasts, and frequent business travelers. It folds compactly enough to fit effortlessly into a backpack or suitcase—and once unpacked at a hotel, users can simply unfold it and connect it to a laptop, Nintendo Switch, or other devices to enjoy immersive visual experiences far surpassing those of small screens.

TCL CSOT also showcased its first printed OLED 2K AG notebook display (14″) solution. Featuring Real Stripe RGB high color fidelity and a wide 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, this solution ensures outstanding display quality for laptops.

Beyond its printed OLED portfolio, TCL CSOT exhibited several groundbreaking display innovations: the world’s highest-quality 3D TV display (65″), the world’s first consumer-grade AI-powered real-time 8K holographic display (32″), and oxide-based color electronic paper display (28.5″). The 3D TV supports seamless 2D/3D switching, offers native 8K ultra-high resolution, and delivers 4K stereoscopic imaging in 3D mode; the consumer-grade AI real-time 8K holographic display (32″) features autostereoscopic (glasses-free) 3D visuals; and the oxide-based color electronic paper display (28.5″) prioritizes eye health and leverages IGZO technology to achieve high-resolution, fine-detail rendering.

In November 2024, TCL CSOT launched its APEX Vision technology brand, strategically focused on four core dimensions: picture quality, eye health, low-carbon sustainability, and future-oriented form factors. The products and technologies showcased by TCL CSOT at this year’s IFA align seamlessly with all four pillars.

Printed OLED excels in both visual performance and eco-sustainability; the oxide-based color electronic paper display (28.5″) emphasizes eye health; while innovations such as the printed OLED foldable portable desktop display (28″), the 3D TV display (65″), and the consumer-grade AI real-time 8K holographic display (32″) push boundaries in form factor—delivering novel sensory experiences through folding designs, 3D visuals, and holographic imagery.

Competition in the display industry has intensified dramatically in recent years, with QD-OLED, FMM OLED, Micro-LED, SQD-Mini-LED, and RGB-Mini-LED technologies advancing rapidly. The industry has moved beyond mere parameter comparisons. As a global leader in display technology, CSOT has established a robust competitive moat through printed OLED—and continues exploring new form factors and interaction paradigms. Going forward, CSOT will collaborate closely with partners to bring more high-quality display products to consumers worldwide.
