On September 4, 2026, IFA 2026—the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (Berlin International Consumer Electronics Show)—officially opened in Berlin, Germany. As one of the world’s top three consumer electronics trade fairs, this year’s IFA theme is “The Future is Now.” Over 1,900 exhibitors from 49 countries and regions are participating, with an estimated 220,000 attendees expected from more than 140 countries. LeiTech (ID: LeiTech) has deployed its “LeiTech IFA26 Reporting Team” to Berlin for on-site, comprehensive, and first-hand coverage of IFA 2026.

Roborock’s exhibition booth is significantly larger than anticipated, drawing numerous international visitors eager to experience its products firsthand. At a glance, the booth features robotic vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, robotic lawn mowers, washing machines—and even a robot submerged in a transparent water tank—signaling Roborock’s ambition to handle *all* household cleaning tasks, indoors and out. On large display screens, Roborock boldly proclaims “World NO.1.” According to IDC data, Roborock ranked first globally in both shipment volume and sales revenue for robotic vacuum cleaners in the first half of 2026.

Center stage at Roborock’s booth stands the G-Rover—a stair-climbing robotic vacuum cleaner previously unveiled at CES 2026 and previously covered by LeiTech. Its European debut continues to attract considerable attention. The principle behind its stair-climbing capability is simpler than it appears: two telescoping wheeled legs replace conventional wheels. The front leg lifts to step onto the next stair, followed by the rear leg pushing upward—enabling simultaneous climbing and cleaning.Though not particularly fast, each step is remarkably stable—there’s no sense of imminent tipping or instability.

Beside the G-Rover sits the G30 Space Explorer Edition, equipped with a foldable biomimetic robotic arm capable of grasping objects. Roborock even dedicated a section of its booth floor—scattered with socks and charging cables—to demonstrate how the robot first picks up loose items before vacuuming, showcasing impressive intelligence.

If the earlier two models represent technological showcases and future-oriented R&D investments, then the Saros 20 Flow and Qrevo Edge 3 Pro robotic vacuum cleaners showcased at IFA represent Roborock’s mainstream flagship offerings. Both feature an astonishing suction power of 36,000 Pa. Upgraded chassis enable them to surmount double-layer thresholds up to 8.8 cm high, while ultra-slim models—including the 8.98-cm-thin G30S Ultra and P30 Pro—can effortlessly navigate under beds and sofas.Clearly, “maximizing cleanable surface area” remains Roborock’s core product narrative—and its devices deliver on that promise.

All four robotic vacuum cleaners displayed by Roborock share another key advantage: Traditional robotic mops often drag a single cloth across the entire floor—leaving freshly cleaned areas quickly re-soiled.This time, Roborock’s roller brush sprays fresh water while simultaneously suctioning wastewater; it cleans itself with every rotation before sweeping the floor—fundamentally solving the “getting dirtier while mopping” problem.
This year at IFA, smart cleaning innovators are expanding outdoors. Roborock has long been developing robotic lawn mowers—and now unveils its first pool-cleaning robot, the RockAqua P1. It autonomously navigates swimming pools, removing leaves, silt, and debris with impressive efficiency. Key specs include: suction capacity of 6,800 gallons per hour, a 4-liter debris basket, dual filtration, full coverage of pool floors, walls, and waterlines—even cleaning depths as shallow as 15 cm. With a 3.5-hour battery life and 3.5-hour charging time, and leveraging the same mapping and obstacle-avoidance technology used in its robotic vacuums, the RockAqua P1 intuitively understands pool geometry and common debris accumulation zones—offering users truly hands-free convenience.

Interestingly, Roborock’s newly launched RockMax Z1 L800 robotic lawn mower uses the same navigation system as its robotic vacuums—enabling autonomous detection of already-mowed areas and eliminating redundant passes. Also on display is the compact all-in-one washer-dryer Z1 Mini Pro, which handles both washing and drying tasks end-to-end.

After touring the booth, LeiTech discerned Roborock’s strategic logic at IFA 2026: First, solidify its position as the global #1 robotic vacuum brand; then, extend its mature navigation and obstacle-avoidance technologies to new outdoor environments—lawns and swimming pools alike.Same intelligent platform, new physical form—yielding entirely new product lines. This approach is, in fact, quite astute.
From September 4–8, 2026, IFA 2026—the world’s largest consumer electronics and home appliance trade fair—is being held in Berlin.
As the “most influential new media outlet covering IFA,” widely recognized by the global AI community, LeiTech has dispatched its largest and most prestigious reporting team to date to Berlin. Adopting a “2+N” model—two live hosts plus multiple on-site editors and remote editors—LeiTech delivers real-time, multi-dimensional, first-hand coverage of IFA 2026. Key coverage themes include: integration of AI Agents with home appliances and hardware; convergence of robotics technology and domestic living scenarios; emerging trends in integrated digital lifestyles spanning people, vehicles, and homes; and the global stage presence of Chinese brands.
