UGREEN’s ambitions stretch far beyond charging accessories.

September 4 marks the official opening of IFA 2026 (Berlin International Trade Fair for Consumer Electronics). The Leitech IFA 2026 reporting team is on‑site in Berlin, delivering immersive, multi‑dimensional and first‑hand coverage of the show.

As the bellwether of the global consumer‑electronics industry, IFA each year unveils brands’ most‑anticipated new technologies, and this edition is no exception.

This time, LeiTech (ID: leitech) discovered on-site that Chinese brand UGREEN made a major move: its debut dual-pavilion presence at IFA. One pavilion is located in the Connectivity & Communications zone; the other, in the Smart Home zone—both centered around whole-home intelligence and AIoT, under the theme “Smarter Living Starts Here.”

Households today are filled with a growing number of smart devices, including security cameras, speakers, smart locks and assorted home appliances. Many AI features require data uploads to the cloud for processing, which leads to sluggish response times and persistent privacy concerns among users.

UGREEN’s approach is to keep AI computation, data storage and device management entirely on‑premises, so data never leaves the home. The HomeAgent acts like an in‑house smart steward: cameras capture visual inputs, speakers and digital photo frames handle audio output and content display, with all data aggregated and processed locally by HomeAgent.

Alongside the hub, UGREEN also showcased a full lineup of complementary hardware such as smart cameras, smart speakers and digital photo frames. These devices work in seamless synergy, forming a complete local‑AI product suite.

Having covered its smart‑home offerings, let’s turn to UGREEN’s core strength: charging technology. At IFA this year, UGREEN unveiled the brand‑new MagFlow series, making its debut with Qi2 25 W magnetic liquid‑cooled fast‑charging technology.

Liquid‑cooling heat dissipation has long been mostly associated with smartphones and PCs. UGREEN has brought this technology down to consumer‑grade charging scenarios. Integrating both active and passive cooling architectures, the MagFlow series targets the long‑standing pain point of heat generation during wireless charging.

Liquid cooling keeps temperatures in check, which in turn improves charging efficiency and safety. Starting out with charging adapters and now packing liquid‑cooling technology into wireless chargers, UGREEN has maintained solid performance within its core business.

What strikes the Leitech team about UGREEN’s IFA execution is that instead of simply stacking products on booth displays for visitors to browse, the brand built numerous immersive experience‑oriented setups.

For instance, within the connectivity zone, UGREEN partnered with local European artists and the University of the Arts Berlin to launch a joint art exhibition titled “Find Style in the Little Things”. It merges hardware products with art installations and video creation, enabling visitors to experience the devices within lifelike real‑world contexts.

Notably, UGREEN serves as an official charging partner for this edition of IFA. Five rest zones across the exhibition halls are equipped with UGREEN’s in‑house developed charging hardware. When visitors grow weary from touring the show, they can sit down and top‑up their devices with ease.

What makes it even more impressive is the cross‑hall interconnection. UGREEN hardware including its smart cameras enables scenario‑based interaction across the two exhibition halls. As visitors walk from the connectivity hall over to the smart‑home hall, devices stay connected and user experiences remain seamless.

Zhang Qingsen, founder of UGREEN, stated during the IFA press conference that consumer electronics will evolve from being “connectable and controllable” toward being “perceptive, collaborative and cognitive”. When paired with UGREEN’s local‑AI strategy embodied by HomeAgent and MagFlow’s liquid‑cooling technology, it is clear the brand is advancing toward this vision by translating technology into tangible products.

Many may not be aware of UGREEN’s strong overseas performance, especially across Europe. Reports indicate that UGREEN’s European GMV reached nearly €180 million in the first half of 2026, representing a 79% year‑on‑year increase. Its global storage business delivered an even steeper year‑on‑year growth rate of 85%.

On the offline front, UGREEN has secured listings with more than 30 major European retail partners including MediaMarktSaturn, Coolblue and Fnac, covering over 20,000 physical stores. Such scale places it firmly within the first tier of Chinese consumer‑electronics brands expanding overseas.

In Leitech’s view, what makes UGREEN’s global expansion noteworthy is that it does not treat overseas business merely as exporting goods abroad. Instead, it conducts in‑depth research into regional user habits, privacy demands and aesthetic preferences. It refines products to meet local standards and develops region‑tailored content to help the brand integrate into local cultures.

Walking the show floors, the overriding impression for the Leitech team is that UGREEN is far more than the cable and charger manufacturer many still recall. While consolidating its established core businesses such as charging and storage, it steps into new arenas including AI, AIoT and whole‑home smart living. The unifying thread running through these seemingly diverse products remains “connection”.

Intelligence is not about simply piling up functions. Instead, it means enabling a suite of devices to revolve around people’s real‑world needs. That is arguably the true message behind “Smarter Living Starts Here”.

Furthermore, UGREEN will host a brand‑launch event titled “Surprising Connections, Smart‑Protected Living” in Xiamen on September 12, diving deeper into brand storytelling and smart‑living solutions. Leitech will also deliver relevant coverage of the event, so stay tuned.
